Trinchero Family Estates
becomes importer of
San Polo in the USA

Trinchero Family Estates is the new importer of SAN Polo wines in the United States. Starting in July, it will handle the sales and marketing of Marilisa Allegrini's Montalcino winery based in the Podernovi area, in the USA. The Company is headed by Marilisa’s two daughters, Carlotta and Caterina Mastella.
“Working with a family-run business is fundamental for us - says Marilisa Allegrini - because, however large and structured, they are much faster and more determined in making decisions, but above all there is a sharing of values, and a deeper knowledge of mutual needs, since they are themselves wine producers as well as distributors. Before clinching the partnership, we carried out due diligence on all the vineyard, cellar and logistics processes, which attest to the great seriousness of the Trinchero family towards San Polo, a company that I am really proud of”.
With origins in the Piedmont area and founded in 1948, Trinchero Family Estates is the second largest family wine group in the world.
The partnership between our families - says the importer's note - comes at a time when both companies are evolving and developing the know-how of the new generations, and Trinchero in particular Is working to expand its business in the luxury sector. San Polo wines are an important addition to the Heritage Collection, the division dedicated to the great wines of Trinchero Family Estates, supervised by the third generation of the family, represented by Carlo Trinchero.
“Launching the latest vintages of San Polo wines in the United States with the support of Trinchero and its network of relationships - concludes Carlotta Mastella - is the beginning of a new and exciting chapter for our family and for the wines we produce in Montalcino".
