ISWA WINERIES
TOGETHER AT PROWEIN
FOR THE FIFTH YEAR

The companies in ISWA (Italian Signature Wines Academy) return for the fifth consecutive year together at ProWein, an event reserved for operators in the world market for wine and spirits, to be held in Düsseldorf from 17th to 19th March.
Allegrini, Caprai, Feudi di San Gregorio, Fontanafredda, Frescobaldi, Masciarelli, Planeta and Villa Sandi - the eight top Italian wine brands that make up ISWA - will be at the German fair and at a single, large stand (Hall 16, Stand H26), a shared space where producers, buyers and customers will meet up.
“ProWein has proven to be the most important business platform in the world for wine and spirits at an international level - explains the president of Italian Signature Wines Academy, Marilisa Allegrini - and therefore, for ISWA producers, it’s an unmissable event. Over time it has succeeded in attracting exhibitors and operators from all over the world, becoming a benchmark and international hub in the sector. I underline how our form of participation allows us to exchange opinions, ideas, contacts and business partners and, therefore, expand business opportunities”.
Turnover of 350 million euro, over 63 million bottles produced, 2000 hectares of land and 1200 employees: these are ISWA’s credentials as it prepares for the 25th edition of ProWein, which will host over 6000 exhibitors this year, of which 1700 are Italian. This is now a traditional event for ISWA, enabling it consolidate its teamwork and joint advantages and create new business opportunities.
Established in 2014, ISWA has the precise objective of seizing every possible opportunity to showcase the best names in ‘Made-in-Italy’ wines. ISWA is also an Academy that promotes the culture of Italian wine through the training of managerial figures in the agri-food sector via the rolling out of a Master’s degree course in collaboration with the ‘Vita e Salute San Raffaele’ University and the Intesa Sanpaolo banking group, and with the support of Vinitaly International Academy.
